98 Ram 1500; I was laying underneath pulling the driveshaft when I noticed the bed was split down the middle, and two different colors. Two beds pieced together, with nothing but bondo holding it all together. At least it explained the white paint showing through one side of the bed...

They replaced all the coils with crap aftermarket ones, I’m guessing they replaced the pig tails after they broke the clips removing the wires.

PROTIP: always remove one of the seats so that you’ll have a handy place to set your tools. :P

The apprentice using the ladder as a bench hits home. I’ve got lazy co-workers who view any flat empty surface as something that needs to be littered with clutter ASAP. I’ve taken to simply throwing their shit away at this point. They joke about stuff going to the Great Big Trash Can in the sky not realizing I’ve actually, literally thrown their shit away as they continue to look for it, puzzled as to where whatever they’re looking for went.

As soon as I saw the pic, I knew it was going to be the brake post of the week. But yeah, it’s not exactly self-explanatory.

Many of the Reddit commenters thought that it was wet concrete that the owner must have driven through, but the author says that there was no concrete involved. Apparently the brake pad was “fused” to the rotor, and the caliper piston was fubar’d too. So it must have been the heat that turned the rotor grey. But can’t say I’ve ever seen heat make the edge look all chewed up like that...

Yeah, I can’t see how concrete would have anything to do with it. I’m sure crazy amounts of heat we’re involved.
